What is life with the angels like? How does it bring a dimension to your life that is unusual but absolutely wonderful? God has created a system by which we can progress in our souls and receive support in that progression. When we pray for Divine Love, when we reach that point where we are truly committed to praying for Divine Love, when we make sincere prayers to receive it, at that moment, our souls begin to align with the process of receiving and progressing with Divine Love. This process is not a one-time event. It is not that you pray for it once, receive it, and then you are done. Each time you pray for Divine Love, you receive a little more, and it has a deeper effect upon your soul, your being, your centre, and your core.

When this light begins to glow within your soul, it draws the angels. When I talk about angels or Celestial spirits, I am referring to beings who have undergone a process of purification and transformation through Divine Love. These redeemed souls have been completely transformed by this energy, this blessing. They have progressed through the spheres of spirit, reaching different levels depending on their soul condition when they passed over.

Not everyone arrives in the same place in the spirit world. When we pass over, we arrive at a location that reflects our soul condition—who we are, what we have done, our basic self, our energy, our light, or our lack of it. The accumulation of our deeds and thoughts on Earth shapes where we land.

When we pass over, we cannot deny who we are. At that point, we become our most authentic self. There is no fooling others or even ourselves. We become deeply familiar with our true self, our issues, our feelings, our mindset, and our soul condition. The primary difference is that we no longer have a physical body. Instead, we have a spirit body, which is a replica of our physical body but much more sensitive. For example, if someone passes over having lived a selfish, egotistical, and self-centered life, their spirit body will reflect those misdeeds. Their body will appear unattractive, reflecting the condition of their soul. This misalignment is not just physical; it is also spiritual.

The Law of Attraction ensures that individuals end up in a place suited to their spiritual condition. For those of us seeking spiritual progression, the good news is that when we pass over, we will likely find ourselves in a relatively pleasant place. We may end up in Summerland, the Second Sphere. This sphere is beautiful, harmonious, and filled with happiness. There is no stress and no lingering issues that make us feel bad.

However, most people begin their spirit journey in the First Sphere. In this sphere, individuals are often completely ignorant of spirit life. They do not understand the laws that determine where they go or how they progress. Many feel no remorse initially because they are confused. They do not know where they are. Some do not even realize they have died because they still feel their spirit body and assume they are alive. The First Sphere feels very physical to them, which adds to the confusion.

For many of these souls, it is a disorienting experience. The majority of people who pass over end up in this sphere. It takes time for them to adjust, and often someone must come along to inform them of their situation. Even when this happens, there is resistance. They may say, “No, this is not true. I am alive. When I die, I am dead,” and so on. This denial reflects their mindset they carry with them.

This period of adjustment involves a lot of readjusting and trying to figure out the truth of their situation. If you have been a fairly decent person, however, you usually end up in the Second Sphere, which is filled with light. By contrast, the First Sphere is more like our physical world. It is dark, kind of grey—not really bad, not a hell, but certainly not a pleasant place either. In that experience, people really have to work hard to progress beyond it, just as we have to work hard to progress in our earthly lives.

The differences between the First Sphere and the Earth Plane are subtle. Other than not having a physical body, there are certain laws that pertain to being in spirit. For example, you do not need to eat or work hard to survive. However, as far as I understand, in the First Sphere, people often carry on with their earthly habits. There are still physical-like activities such as jobs, trains, cars—maybe even cities—and things reflective of our material world. These aspects provide a sense of purpose, but it is more of a material purpose that continues in that sphere.

When a soul reaches the Second Sphere, there is a shift toward enlightenment. Here, you begin to realize new possibilities. You discover that with thought, you can travel from one place to another. You can connect with other spirits, friends, or even those on Earth simply by thinking about them. When you pray for a blessing, the experience is far more intense than what you might feel on Earth. In the Second Sphere, people start to realize, “Oh, this is a different way of being.” They begin to experiment with these new abilities.

In the First Sphere, people still feel as though they are in a physical body. But in the Second Sphere, they begin to understand they are truly spirit. This discovery is joyful, as they explore the potentials of the spirit body and the spirit mind. The joy of these realizations adds to the fulfillment of life in this sphere.

The Law of Attraction also continues to work in the Second Sphere. When you are drawn to something or someone, you naturally end up there. The Second Sphere is home to many institutions for education, where spirits learn about themselves, life, God, and many other things. This process of learning brings joy and fulfillment to those who are ready for it.

The Second Sphere remains a transitional place. It is a mixture of individuals who are on different spiritual paths. Some spirits follow the natural love path, which leads to the Sixth Sphere—the natural love heaven. Others choose the Divine Love path, which leads to the Celestial Heaven. This mixture of souls mirrors the diversity we see on Earth, though by the Third Sphere, there is more delineation between the two paths.

In the Third Sphere, those attuned to God have a profound sense of God’s Presence. They are prayerful and deeply understand the concept that if they open their soul to God’s Love, they will receive it. They live this understanding. They embody it in every moment, every breath.

In spirit, there is no day or night, no rhythm of wakefulness and sleep as we know it. You simply exist, experiencing life moment by moment. Interestingly, during our sleep state, we enter the spirit world. This gives us a chance to familiarize ourselves with spirit life. While asleep, we may wander the Earth, connect with loved ones on the other side of the planet, or engage in other activities. Even in our dreams, we are often doing something significant.

In the Third Sphere, more qualities of spirit are refined, along with the soul. However, for those who are very intellectual—those who are destined for or have set their momentum toward the natural love path—this sphere can feel unfulfilling. They may become bored because the Third Sphere is not intellectually stimulating. Instead, it is spiritually, emotionally, and soulfully enriching. For individuals focused on intellect, this may not be of interest. They want to continue expanding their intellect, and since you have a mind and intellect even in spirit, that becomes their focus. As a result, many such individuals simply pass through the Third Sphere without lingering.

Progressing through the spheres is a journey that everyone undertakes to some degree. Each spirit experiences and explores these levels differently. Some remain longer in one sphere, while others move quickly through it. This progression depends on what they are attracted to, what excites and stimulates them, and what their motivations are.

The Third Sphere is a lovely and harmonious place. It has a “grandma-to-tea” kind of energy, inviting spirits to sit, chat, and share loving moments together. In this sphere, spirits focus on God, their souls, and harmonious relationships. It is about being loving and supportive of one another in a beautiful and peaceful environment.

For me personally, when I pass over, my goal is to reach the Third Sphere. I would be content with the high Second Sphere—often called the Summerland—but the Third Sphere feels like a realized goal because it is so focused on the soul. That is the essence of this sphere: it is all about the soul. While there are intellectual pursuits here, they are not the primary focus.

Now, the Fourth Sphere is quite different. It is a more intellectual sphere and is highly advanced. Spirits in this sphere begin to integrate their spiritual gifts with their minds, using this integration to manipulate matter and influence their surroundings. This is a place where the mind is powerful, and spirits develop and explore their intellectual and creative capacities. There are often powerful healings that take place in the Fourth Sphere, demonstrating the integration of the mind’s potential with spiritual energies.

Each of these spheres has its own personality, so to speak. The First and Second Spheres are considered low spheres. They are close to the Earth Plane and reflect many earthly attitudes and conditions. In these spheres, people may still engage in gossip, infighting, and other human behaviours. They continue their earthly ways, though it is mixed in gradients depending on their level of progression.

As you ascend to the higher spheres, such as the Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, and Seventh, the focus becomes more delineated. Each sphere supports a specific aspect of spiritual growth and progression.

In these higher spheres, two primary paths for progression become evident. One path focuses on the purification and protection of natural love and the individual. The other path is centered on the development, purification, and transformation of the soul through Divine Love. While these two paths coexist to some degree in the lower Spheres, they do not merge seamlessly in the higher spheres. By this stage, most spirits have made their choice of path.

If you think of schooling, some people pursue an academic flow, while others follow a more practical flow, depending on their intellectual capabilities or desires. The progression through the spiritual spheres mirrors this. Those on the Divine Love path meet others on the same journey, while those on the natural love path similarly gather together. There is some interaction between the two groups. They meet and discuss various topics, but often, the spirits on the natural love path feel intellectually superior—or at least, they think they are. This creates a gap, a difference in understanding, which limits how much the two groups commingle.

Angels have made many attempts to convince spirits in the Fourth, Sixth, Second, and First Spheres to adopt the Divine Love path. However, these efforts often fall on deaf ears. Just as on Earth, many spirits are not interested. They do not see the value of the Divine Love path. They cannot feel it or understand it because their minds are entrenched in what they believe to be true. Their perspective makes them unreachable in this way.

Now, let us return to the Fourth Sphere. This sphere is highly intellectual and represents a significant stage in spiritual blossoming. Here, people begin to discover the full potential of the spirit. They uncover their healing gifts, expand their psychic and intuitive abilities, and explore creative ways to manifest beauty. The Fourth Sphere is stunningly beautiful, more so than anything found on Earth. Spirits create breathtaking gardens and structures. Institutions in this sphere support learning, growth, and development in profound ways.

Spirits in the Fourth Sphere are also deeply connected to Earth. They often work to help Earthlings grow and develop. Many of those practicing spiritual gifts on Earth—such as healers—have a Fourth Sphere guide or spirit assisting them. These guides, particularly those working with healers, are spirits of a very high calibre. This type of guidance and support is far beyond what we experience on the earthly plane.

While the Fourth Sphere is a fabulous place, it is not where I wish to remain. I know I will need to spend time there because we all progress through the spheres according to the Law of Attraction. You cannot bypass a sphere without reaching the required level of vibration, light, and understanding. Each sphere represents a stage of spiritual development that must be completed before moving forward.

When you have reached all you can in the Fourth Sphere, you feel compelled to progress to the next. At that point, you enter the Fifth Sphere. This transition can happen quickly or slowly, depending on your focus and spiritual efforts.

The Fifth Sphere is a wonderful Divine Love sphere. It is filled with spirits who are deeply committed to Divine Love. Their light radiates outward, and their love is tangible—you can feel it pouring off them. These spirits are prayerful and serve as beautiful channels of love. They are also dedicated servants of Earth, often visiting to help those they love or to support humanity in general.

In all the spheres, spirits maintain a connection with their families and loved ones on Earth. They travel back and forth, bringing their light and gifts to help individuals in need. However, the depth of rapport they can establish with us depends greatly on our openness and spiritual condition.

If we are closed off—thinking, “There is nothing out there,” or insisting that we feel nothing—then a strong rapport cannot form. These spirits may stand off to the side, observing and praying for us. If they are fixtures in our lives, they continue to pray fervently, but they cannot come too close because we are not allowing it. Our light and receptivity determine the extent of their involvement.

The condition you carry with you from the Earth Plane significantly influences how you connect with higher spirits. If you carry an average condition—typical of many on Earth—it is not very appealing to a Fifth Sphere spirit. Their state of mind and being are so refined that your condition feels contrary to theirs. However, these spirits make great sacrifices to come here and help. This is true of all higher spirits, who descend from the Fourth Sphere upward.

For these spirits, coming to Earth is like traveling to a different planet. While they are familiar with Earth, having lived here before, the differences between Earth and the higher spheres are profound. Upon returning to their home sphere, these spirits must replenish themselves. They need to rid themselves of the detritus they have picked up from this “sooty planet,” filled with clinging thought forms and heavy conditions. It is like taking a spiritual shower to cleanse and rejuvenate.

The diversity of life and conditions on the Earth plane is unique. It is the only place where such a wide variety of people, conditions, and states of being exist together. In the higher spheres, the Law of Attraction ensures that spirits of similar thoughts and perspectives gather together. In these realms, like attracts like. It is akin to molecules forming from atoms that are naturally drawn to one another, creating a unified form.

When I speak of the spheres, it is important to understand they are not singular places. Each sphere contains many gradients and levels, where spirits congregate according to their progression, thoughts, and attitudes. It is true in spirit as on Earth: birds of a feather flock together.

The Fifth Sphere is a realm of harmony, love, brightness, and beauty. It surpasses the Fourth Sphere in its splendour. The focus here shifts even more toward the soul, with less emphasis on the mind. While there is still some intellectual development, spirits in the Fifth Sphere are learning to use the mind of their soul rather than relying on the spirit mind, which is essentially a reflection of the material mind.

This sphere is like a beautiful, loving version of Barbados, but without any of the problems. Life is easy-going, and everyone loves one another. There is no need to work for a living or eat—none of the physical concerns of the Earth plane exist here. Many spirits in the Fifth Sphere choose to return to Earth to help their loved ones or to work in service to humanity. These spirits are wonderful healers who come to pray with us and support us in prayer. They add their prayers to ours, intensifying the spiritual environment and the blessings we receive.

Now we come to the Sixth Sphere.. This is the Nirvana that Buddha spoke about, a place of perfection. Here, the spirit bodies are perfect and beautiful, as is the environment. Knowledge is accessible without limits, making it an intellectual’s dream. The Sixth Sphere is for those who strive for perfect action, thought, and existence. It is a deeply gratifying place for spirits who have worked tirelessly to refine their minds and master the natural love processes. They have reached the pinnacle of these efforts and attained self-realization.

This self-realization is what many natural love teachers on Earth speak about. It is self-realization. It is not realization through God. They focus on realization through personal will and the capacity to release anything negative, imperfect, or disharmonious. This process is entirely of the mind, which is a natural condition of life on the Earth Plane. These spirits have learned to harness the mind’s potential to achieve their goals, progressing through each sphere until they reach the Sixth.

Upon arrival, spirits in the Sixth Sphere feel a sense of reward. They think, “I have my reward. I have no issues. I am gloriously happy. I know things I could not have dreamed of on Earth.” It is a society where all God-given gifts—psychic abilities, mental abilities, and even some soul abilities—can be used to their utmost potential.

But there is one flaw, one “fly in paradise”: the Sixth Sphere is limited. Beyond this point, you cannot progress further except in knowledge. You can accumulate more and more knowledge, but there is no path beyond it.

Imagine being in the Sixth Sphere for 1,000 years. You have experienced and understood a billion facts about material and spiritual knowledge. Yet eventually, even this becomes mundane. For spirits in the Sixth Sphere, despite its beauty and perfection, there is a ceiling they cannot break through.

For us, the knowledge and experiences of the Sixth Sphere would be overwhelming, not boring. But for those who have lived there a long time—some for thousands, even millions of years—it becomes monotonous. I believe there were advanced civilizations long before the ones we now recognize, such as Atlantis and others. These souls, having lived on Earth perhaps 100,000 or even a million years ago, have progressed into the Sixth Sphere, at least many of them have.

Imagine their lives. They know what their friends are going to say before the words are spoken. They hold conversations that are unspoken but have been had a thousand times before. It is not a place I would want to live.

Beyond the Sixth Sphere lies the Seventh Sphere, often called the gates to Heaven. For those of us following the Divine Love path, reaching the Seventh Sphere signifies that your soul is almost completely transformed by Divine Love. You are nearly ready. It is like the chrysalis stage of a butterfly. You are perched on the branch, your wings beginning to unfurl. You are almost fully transformed.

But as with a butterfly, there is a moment of adjustment. In the Seventh Sphere, you let go of all vestiges of your human self. You release attachments to the Earth plane, to your loved ones, and to all material connections. This is not a loss but an evolution. You gain a degree of wisdom and perception that, if experienced on Earth, might seem almost too extraordinary to comprehend. It is so different from the life we know here—free from material attachments and ambitions.

The joy of the Seventh Sphere comes from the soul’s intimate connection with God. This connection is constant—every moment of existence. I would say it is like every breath, though in spirit, there is no breathing. It is simply a continuous state of being.

Spirits in the Seventh Sphere have found what they have been seeking. But the great advantage of the Divine Love path is that there are no limitations. There is no glass ceiling, no point beyond which you cannot go. On this path, you come to a place where you have released all the impediments, all the encrustations of your soul. Your memories are refined and turned into gold. Your thoughts and desires are harmonized with your soul’s divine creation.

At this stage, the spirit body is so refined that it merges completely with the soul. The spirit mind and the soul mind become one, unified and elevated. When this happens, you receive your “ticket.” You step onto the bus and pass through the gates into Heaven. Now we will explore the Celestial Spheres.

To summarise, we have covered how, upon passing from the flesh into spirit, the place we land in these spheres is determined by our soul condition—our general light. We either carry a light, or we do not. Some souls carry a very dark condition, and in accordance with the Laws of Attraction, this determines where they end up.

Regardless of their condition, everyone lands in a place of light immediately after death, even those carrying a very dark state. This initial location is often like a hospital, a space for recovery and adjustment to their new state of existence in spirit. After this period of recovery, however, they must transition to the place most suited to their condition. This could range from the First Sphere to the Fifth.

It is rare for someone to go directly to the Sixth Sphere. Perhaps some Indian swamis or spiritual teachers who have lived truly extraordinary lives might attain that level immediately, but even that is unlikely. Progression is required, and wherever a soul initially lands is where their spiritual work begins. Understanding what this work entails is crucial.

The spirit world offers abundant opportunities and institutions to support spirits in their learning and growth. Far from being left without guidance, there are many resources available, as well as dedicated individuals who focus their efforts on helping others progress.

I have learned this personally through the experience of my father, who passed away about 14 years ago. When he crossed over into spirit, he did not have any understanding of what to expect, even though he was dying of cancer and I tried to prepare him by sharing what I knew. It did not register. Whether it was due to the medication he was taking to manage his pain or some other reason, the information simply did not sink in.

Recently, he told me that he now dedicates his time to helping others adjust when they pass into spirit. He recognised his own lack of understanding and, having experienced the confusion himself, decided to assist others in navigating this transition. That is his work now. Many others in the spirit world do similar things. The choices spirits make about their activities are often influenced by their past experiences, the opportunities available to them in the spirit world, and the plane they are in.

So, we have progressed into the Seventh Sphere, which I call the gates to Heaven. In this sphere, all conditions contrary to love fall away. The last vestiges of those conditions are removed, and you are completely purified. The power of Divine Love has many benefits and effects on the soul, one of which is purification. When we live a life on the Earth plane, we carry the sins of the parents and accumulate other conditions, even as children. These things stick to us like glue. Spirit has referred to them as encrustations of the soul.

I often imagine the soul as a bright planet, similar to Saturn, with rings of encrustations revolving around it. As we receive Divine Love, these encrustations are burnt away by the Love. Many people report that when they feel Divine Love, it creates a sensation like burning. My first experience with Divine Love felt like a burning in my solar plexus. Initially, I wondered, “Am I having a problem with my stomach?” It was not that at all—it was my soul receiving Divine Love and recognising it for the first time. The effects were evident. The burning sensation marked the beginning of a cleansing process for my soul, one that purified my condition and brought greater life to me.

As an individual progresses through the spheres, cleansing happens in one way or another. This process can occur through the natural love path, which is a very tedious and arduous journey. It involves addressing every aspect within yourself—every hurt, every pain, every memory. This is a slow and painstaking path, but it appeals to many because it feels more tangible than having faith in God. It gives them a sense of control, as they believe they are directing the process themselves without relying on God.

In today’s world, many people struggle to trust God. This lack of trust often stems from the terrible things that have been done in His Name. Of course, these actions are not of God but of humanity. Yet people often blame God for them.

The natural love progression requires a step-by-step cleansing programme. In contrast, with Divine Love, the cleansing process is organic, automatic, and reflexive. It does not erase everything overnight, as we do not receive Divine Love in such quantity all at once. For the vast majority of those on this path, the cleansing process happens incrementally. Nevertheless, it is significantly quicker than the natural love route and, more importantly, permanent.

When these encrustations fall away, the mind may still recollect past traumas or hurts. However, the emotional content of those memories—the pain—is gone. It becomes like observing the event as a third party. This is what Divine Love accomplishes. It clears away pain, hurt, and distorted thinking, replacing them with wisdom, clarity, forgiveness, compassion, and love.

When this process is completed and you reach the Seventh Sphere, all vestiges of purification are finished. At the upper end of the Seventh Sphere, you experience profound relief. The burdens lift. You feel you truly know and love God. You feel the joy of this connection. You know the truth of it and the truth of the truth. At this point, you are ready to enter the Celestial Kingdom. Usually, a beautiful angel will come to greet you and escort you there.

Think of all the spheres as a kind of corkscrew, winding up and up. At the very tip of that corkscrew, you are ready to enter into a new way of being and consciousness. When you enter the Celestial Kingdom, it is glorious. It is as the Bible describes or as you may have been told.

The glories of Heaven are beyond description. The beauty of Heaven is beyond description. The harmony, the peace, the infusion of Love—even the sounds. It is said that in Heaven, there is heavenly music. In Heaven, there are landscapes, gardens, and places, as well as actual habitations. Each soul has their own home and will be escorted there. That home will be perfect, containing everything you could ever want.

Matt might be disappointed, as it will not have a kitchen—since you do not eat. Instead, you might have a bowl of fruit you can inhale, but there is no liqueur either. Of course, I am not equipped to describe what Heaven looks like. However, I can tell you what Celestial Spirits are like because I have encountered many of them.

The unique quality of Divine Love is in its Energy and Essence. We naturally feel and recognise love from one another—the natural love we are capable of. This recognition is intuitive because we have been surrounded by it. As babies, our parents loved and nurtured us. But Divine Love has a quality, a texture, and a feel that is all of God and not of man.

This Love infiltrates the Celestial Kingdom to such a degree that the air is thick with it. You take it in so readily. In the Celestial Kingdom, praying requires no effort. You do not have to reach up—you simply open, and it is there. It flows abundantly, and you continue to grow and expand in this Love. It is magnificent.

The Celestial Kingdom is not just one sphere. It has many, many spheres that go on infinitely. The natural love spheres, as I mentioned earlier, have their limitations. There is a point where you cannot grow any further. You are of light, perfect, pure, and joyful in that condition. But Divine Love brings you further. It takes you to a place of such joy, such expansiveness and Love, such understanding and closeness to God. There is great joy in being with others who are also in that condition. You feel deep satisfaction in the knowledge you gain, as your soul’s faculties grow, expand, and awaken. It is beyond description.

Although we struggle here on Earth to receive Divine Love—disciplining ourselves, making time, clearing the air, and preparing ourselves to feel and recognise it—the reward is immense. When you reach the Celestial Kingdom, you exist in the ease of God’s grace. Nothing else matters but to be in that condition of grace, fully and openly.

There are no words to truly describe it, and I have not been there, so I cannot fully explain it. But these words have been shared with me. The Celestial Angels are a joyful lot.
