I am here, Yogananda.
I come in the love of God for the sake of all souls, and I thank the magnificent Moses for guiding us all.
I wish to speak directly of service in a world so absorbed in the material that it seems as if you need a sword of love to cut through it. You look around, and you see souls who are buffering against their own mortality through every means possible and available to them, whether it means accumulations of material things, substance abuse, or perverted sexuality. This is the condition of the world for many. You can, of course, inform them of the love of God, and most will have some concept of what that might be. You can give them a book or inform them of meditation and yoga exercises, as I did with my students, as these things help keep the body in harmony, so that it is not a distraction. But I tell you the essential ingredient is a change of heart. And thus, you see when people are in crisis, and they call out to God, the Divine response is given. Those you may meet are mostly in crisis, though they may not realize it. So, how does one touch the heart? Well, song is a very good way, and sometimes even a very poignant and sad song will open the heart. A loving embrace works wonders, and if a person is hungry, a meal; If a person is homeless, shelter. These acts of kindness can open a heart in gratitude, for so many hearts are battered, abused, and in crisis. The most vulnerable are often those who have the least number of options to buffer the world and to avoid reality, you will find are most open, not only to hearing the message of God’s love and its availability, but to actual prayer of asking to receive it as you all do.
Your hearts have been changed, and your souls are being transformed. And the joy you feel, you wish for every soul, and you also wish to tread lightly but with love, with joy. For whom does not seek happiness? All of God’s children are, if even in inharmonious ways. What you are offering others with the love in your souls is happiness, freedom, change, and transformation.
May the great love of God be in your souls, and may this place be permeated with His grace so that all who come may be blessed, healed, and changed. I love you
