God bless you, my friends. I am Alec. As you are well aware, God has a plan. He is building His retinue of angels and mortals to enact that plan in the world. Thus, He has enlisted the two of you and many more to be a part of that plan. It requires dedication and preparation. It requires flexibility and desire to serve. The meaning of service is to step forward upon request, to be a part of whatever the guidance might be, to put aside your own needs, your own biases and to say, “Yes, I am willing. I am willing.”
Indeed, many have aspirations to be in service and to be close to God. Many wish to be enlightened and filled with truth. Many wish to be teachers, healers and persons of great importance and recognition. Yet, who does God pick? Who does God want as His servants of truth? It is often the humble and the meek. It is often those who do not feel qualified, who are dedicated to God and have a love for God, but in the material world, feel reluctant and shy. They have compassion for others because of their condition and their attitudes, but they are often afraid of the harshness of the world. Many hide away. Many are with God in prayer often, but have trouble applying what is given, the truth that is known, the Love that burns within their souls, to the practical aspects of the world.
Indeed, each of you here has faced those challenges, each wishing to have the benefits of God’s Touch and blessings, which are given without restriction and caveats, but there is a reluctance to engage with humanity with fervour and desire. Yet, here you are, my beloved friends, two brothers seeking to grow in God’s Love and be developed in gifts and abilities that God may use in the future and may use at this moment. It is a bit of a contradiction, is it not? “I wish to serve, but I only wish to serve in ways that I feel comfortable, safe and have a sense of purpose.” Yet, that purpose is the fabrication of your mind, rather than the understanding of your soul and God’s purpose for you. This is all too human. We understand why it is difficult to step beyond that comfort zone, that place where you feel at peace and yet useful and purposeful. Indeed, each of you desires to serve and does serve in your own ways. This is acknowledged and appreciated. Yet, in times to come, there will be a great deal needed of each of you and many more, so many things to be attended to, so many situations, conditions and souls to be engaged with.
If you are truly to be a servant of God and a leader of men, then you must accept your fate. That fate is not what you would imagine or put together as a mandate for your life. Service of God is God’s Will manifest through you. That is a whole different thing, very different from human imagination and desire. Yet, within each of you is a great willingness, a desire to serve and a beautiful light. Each of you is filled with gifts, beautiful gifts, much of which you are not aware of. You continue to hide away, often because of your reluctance to step forward and to serve and be in ways that are foreign to you. There is fear of rejection and fear of harm. This you must overcome. For when you do God’s work, you are protected, guided and enabled to do what is needed. When you have great faith in God’s Will, God’s design and plan for you, there is no fear. What is needed to be accomplished is done so rather easily, provided you do not put up the resistance of the mind and the conditions that hold you back.
It is push and pull. The opportunities set you forward and the reluctance pulls you back. Yet, in time, the momentum of that forward motion will overcome any reluctance and will put you on the path of deep service and many, many opportunities of service. To be a servant of God is to serve humanity, to serve a soul, to serve another and to do so without judgement, fear or reluctance, but with love. That love may manifest in many different ways. There may be many different avenues and actions that comply with God’s Will and with what is needed in that particular case.
My friends, are you willing to ride that rollercoaster, that up and down motion of acknowledging the conditions of the world and yet rising up to meet them in service, faith and love? Yes, the world is a terrible place. It is filled with deceit, darkness, fear, loneliness, isolation and many troubles. Yet, who is willing to step forward and say, “I know a way beyond these dilemmas. I know how you might be healed, how you might feel peace, how you might change your ways, your habits and patterns that often bring you to darkness. I know a way.” This is what you must share with others. Some wish to preach and say, “This is the truth and this is what you must follow”, with deep authority and conviction, but this says, “I am better than you. I am further than you.” What is needed is, “I understand you and I love you. I have been where you are and I understand the challenges, that which holds you back in the darkness away from the light.”
My brethren, there is much to teach and demonstrate. There is much love to give. Indeed, compassion, patience, forbearance and dedication are needed, but all coloured in love. If you strip away the biases and the reluctance that you carry, and the biases and reluctance that the other carries, what do you have but two human beings on a journey seeking truth, seeking a good life? This is how you must view the world. This is how you may approach the world, leaving behind the hurt and pain of the past and embracing the upliftment and blessings of the present. For God has blessed you each deeply and powerfully. He will continue to do so. He will continue to guide you, test you and see what you are capable of. Yet, in truth, God knows exactly what you are capable of. His wish is that you will see what you are capable of, that you will push the boundaries and free yourself in the process.
God’s instruments are not unable to move forward with strength and clarity. God’s instruments are full of strength, clarity, purpose, understanding and able to perceive God’s Will. This is what is needed. You may see yourself as inadequate in this regard, but as you continue to grow in the Father’s Love, as you continue to test yourself and step forward in the many ways that God provides for you, then the strength will come. As you continue to find your true self, the way of God, the way of service, part of God’s retinue of servants in the world, then clarity will come. The old will fall away, like an old, tired blanket, unneeded and unnecessary. You will find yourself truly expressing who you are in the ways that are true to you. In this, there will be great joy, a sense of fulfilment, a sense of purpose, a true sense of yourself.
Do you not desire this? Surely you do. I know that you do. Each of you has been chosen. Of course, the individual soul’s path is their own, but God brings those together who are compatible, who can support one another, who can become friends, allies, brothers upon the path. So it is, these gifts from God. So it is. You will support each other in many ways and often work together in the ways that God will guide and bring you into the fold of His plan and purpose. So much awaits you, both of you. So much can be accomplished together. Complementary gifts. You may uphold one another in this beautiful path of love.
God bless you, my friends. I am happy to be a part of this, part of God’s plan, part of what you do and what others do. What a gift to be a part of this. What a blessing. May you know the Father’s Love in deep and abiding ways to infill you, to transform you, to heal you, to change you, to bring you to yourself, to bring you to truth and to bring you to your purpose, true and powerful.
